All orders are available for pick up, based upon availability.
Pick up location is near 107th Avenue and Happy Valley Road within the Peoria, AZ 85383 zip code. Exact address on each invoice and provided again the 1-2 days before pickup, as a reminder.
Please reach out 7 days prior to pick up if you need to reschedule. If you no show for the pick up window, you have the very next pick up window to pick up at (if available). After that you have forfeited your order. No refunds will be issued.
To confirm your order and secure a date, a deposit of 50% must be secured no later than 14 days prior to pick up date.
Last minute orders (less than 14 days prior to pick-up date) are required to pay in full at time of booking. *Subject to availability.
Remainder of payment due (50%) must be made 7 days prior to the scheduled pick-up date. A second invoice will be sent on the Friday prior to your order date.
All invoices will be emailed to you via Square before the payment due date(s).
Price changes: If you have paid your deposit, your price is locked in for your order. A quoted price is good for 3 days.
If you are unable to keep your order, please let me know as soon as possible!
If order is cancelled within 24 hours of deposit payment due date, a refund will be made for the full deposit.
Cancelling after 24 hours from deposit due date will incur a 50% cancellation fee (your deposit). By this time I have already started printing the cookie cutters, ordered your packaging, started the design process and spent time planning. Of the retained deposit due to cancelling, 25% can be used on a future order with Sweet Bee Bakery.
No refunds will be given for cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled pick up date. At this point your order is being baked! Of the retained full-payment due to cancelling, 25% can be used on a future order with Sweet Bee Bakery.
COVID or Illness: If I or my household happen to come down with an illness and can't completed your order safely, you'll be given two options. 1) I will reach-out to my local baker community for another business to complete your order or 2) I'll issue a full refund. The choice will be yours!
A proof design can be available, if requested. If placing a last-minute order, a proof may not be provided and custom details may be limited.
I MUST be given full creative freedom but will work off your inspirational photos, invitations, party décor, etc. that you included in our order form. I will not copy another bakery's items directly.
A copyright images, saying and/or like items (think like Disney, Sports Teams logos, School logo/mascot, popular sayings, etc.) are all protected and I won't be able to replicate. I will work with the colors, given themes and create you something amazing!
Any and all design concerns need to be brought to my attention at the time of pick up. Final pictures will be sent before pickup. Once the order is collected by you, no refunds will be offered. It's yours to enjoy!
Sweet Bee Bakery's kitchen & workspace have been approved by Arizona Cottage Law (14555), Food Handlers of Arizona (2020b3509247), City of Peoria Business License (PBL22-010263) and Arizona State TPT license (21462177). AZ Cottage Food Law License is a non-inspected license kitchen. Kitchen and home are smoke-free. Kitchen is pet-free.
Although most menu items do not include nuts, some ingredients may contain traces of nuts. Kitchen and household are NOT dairy, wheat-gluten, egg, peanut/tree nut or fish/shell fish free.
It is your responsibility to specify any dietary requirements that guests may have. All orders will come labeled with used ingredients and dated the first day ingredients were mixed together.
Pictures: Please let know if you don't want pictures of your order to shared on social media at all or even delayed. Pictures will typically go up within 3-5 day of pickup.
Sizing Guides:
Standard cookies are 3/8 inch thick & usually 2-3 inches wide. Mini cookies are 3/8 thick & usually 1-2 inches wide.
Cake pops are weighted to 1-1.1 oz. before dipping.
Cake layers are 1.75-2”, stacked 3 high with 2 filling layers.
Once you walk away with your order, it's your responsibility to keep it safe. You'll be given a "care card" with all the instructions to keep your order fresh and safe! Please follow those instructions. They are also listed below, if you need them again.
Please do not place your cookies in the refrigerator. Keep your cookies in their heat sealed bags and/or bakery box at room temperature. Cookies are best enjoyed within 1-2 weeks.
Extra cookies can be frozen!
Simply remove cookies from bakery box, keeping them in their heat sealed bags. Place cookies in an air tight container, like tubber ware. It's recommend to placing fronts facing fronts and backs facing backs for decorated cookies. Place the lid on and set in the freezer for up to 3 months. When ready to serve again, remove the whole container from the freezer 10-12 hours before needed. Allow the container to fully defrost before opening the lid.
Cake pops will remain fresh at room temperature for 2-7 days.
Store left over cake pops in an airtight container with a dry paper towel lining the bottom, removing them from their individual wrapping.
Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and/or heat. Cake pops containing fruit, custard and/or cream must go into the refrigerator. All types of cake pops can be stored in the refrigerator. Keep in an airtight container for 7-14 days. To thaw; take out 1-2 hours before serving and let come to room temperature. You may freeze left over cake pops in an airtight container for 1-3 months.
Store in an airtight container with a dry paper towel lining the bottom. To thaw; take out 2-4 hours before serving and let come to room temperature.
Chocolate covered strawberries are best enjoyed the same day and stored at room temperature.
Store strawberries uncovered in a cool, dry place, away from any direct sunlight moisture and/or heat. If needed, you may store chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge for up to 2 days. Lay them in a single layer in an airtight container with a paper towel lining the bottom. Be mindful that chilled strawberries will sweat a little bit. This won't impact the flavor but the chocolate might change color.
We do not recommend freezing strawberries as they will become mushy when thawed.
Let the icing come to room temperature, if not already. This ensures the correct consistency for decorating. Gently massage the icing bags to reincorporate the color,
if there is color separations. This is completely normal!
Flatten the tip of the icing bag with the seam facing up. Snip the very tip off. You can always cut more later, if more flow is needed.
Decorate your cookies using the icing and sprinkles provided. Have fun with it! :) Enjoy!
You may eat them right away or leave them overnight, uncovered to dry. They will be stackable after 8-12 hours. (If your kit came with buttercream icing; it won’t harden.) The cookies will remain fresh up to 7 days stored in an airtight container, like tupper ware.
Cake pops will remain fresh at room temperature for to 2-7 days. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and/or heat.
To decorate; melt chocolate/candy melt bag(s) in the microwave for 30 second increments at half power. Gently massage bag(s) until chocolate/candy melts are fully melted. *CAUTION: bag(s) may be hot. Let sit until room temperature before handling!*

Why are custom decorated cookies (so) expensive?
Let's break it down ...
The average amount of time it takes me to complete a SINGLE DOZEN custom cookie order from start to finish is around 8-10 hours. Detailed sets take upwards of 12+ hours and elaborate sets can take 16+ hours!
This includes: custom order planning, invoicing, communication with clients, etc. Purchasing cutters or designing and printing them myself. Designing a cohesive set. Making dough and icing. Not to mention the years perfecting recipes. Baking and decorating. Photos and online posting. Packing and pick-up/delivery and more!
So what does this mean?
After the cost of ingredients and supplies, I make less than $5 an hour decorating cookies.
Each order is literally hand crafted by me, with lots of love, time and energy spent perfecting each cookie. I understand my pricing may not be for everyone and I truly respect that in every way possible.
