Welcome!

2020 was the year of change for me and my family too! Not only was there a global pandemic that shut down the world as we knew it but my long-lived career in retail management ended. I spent 16 years working my way though the retail chain; long nights, weekends and Holiday's spent away from my loved ones. It was just my time to let all that go. To focus on myself, my young children & growing family. To finally do something I really love to do ... bake and be my own boss! :) 

My love for baking started at a young aged with my great-grandmother, Ruby. We’d spend the whole morning making breakfast, eat, clean up and start on a making lunch. From scratch using time-tested, passed down recipe. Most not even written down but memorize. Then I grew a love for cupcakes around the age of 12. I even was gifted baking things from my Granny for Christmas and my birthday that year (and still am to this day)! I ended up making too many cupcakes for my small family of just 4 to eat all day, everyday! Naturally cupcakes turned into muffins, then muffins into breads and so on. Until I landed here some 18+ years later.  

I get the best of both worlds here; I get to spend by days with two young children; teaching them, playing with them, watching them grow and taking them places. Making so many memories that I'll cherish for years to come. Then my nights are spend baking, running this business and getting to feel like more than "just a mom."
